THIS LAMP WAS EXHIBITED AT SFO MUSEUM AS A PART OF THEIR EGYPTIAN REVIVAL SHOW. IT TOOK PLACE AT THE TERMINAL "A" OF SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FROM JANUARY 2015 TO JULY 2015.

THE LAMP IS IN VERY GOOD AUTHENTIC, ANTIQUE RESTORED CONDITION, WITH 95% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISHES STILL PRESENT, MULTIPLE IMPERFECTIONS THROUGHOUT, CHIPS, NICKS AND WEAR ACCORDING TO AGE. THE MONKEY BUTLER HAND CARVED FIGURINE IS 19th.CENTURY, LATER CONVERTED INTO FOLK ART LAMP. THIS BEAST WAS DEFINITELY MADE DURING PROHIBITION PERIOD FROM A BRADLEY & HUBBARD GAS LIGHT AND ATTACHED TO A WOODEN PAPER SAMPLES BOX. MEASURES AT : 43" TALL TO THE VERY TOP OF THE FINIAL, STRETCHES OUT TO 19.5" FROM POLE TO THE EDGE OF THE 12.5" DIAMETER 4 JEWELED METAL SHADE, THE BASE BOX IS 14 3/4" x 9.5".
